1> Adjusting shims: Adjust the clearance of the bearings by increasing or decreasing the shims, so that it meets the design requirements of the equipment. The thickness of the shims should be moderate, too thin or too thick may affect the precision and stability of the support seat.
2>Preloading force adjustment: For the support seat that needs preloading, the prescribed preloading force can be realized by adjusting the thickness of shims or using preloading nut.
3>Reassembly: After the adjustment is completed, reinstall the backing caps or other fixtures of the support bearings and make sure they are tight.
After the adjustment is completed, it is also necessary to test the operation, start the machinery and equipment for low-speed running test, check the operation of the support seat and related components to ensure that there is no abnormal noise and vibration. The gap of the screw support seat will directly affect the precision of the equipment, through the appearance inspection, bolt fastening, lubrication confirmation and accurate measurement, combined with gasket adjustment and preload optimization methods, can effectively ensure its stable operation.
